some suburbs have taxi’s and some don’t
Chicago cabs DO NOT pick any fare up outside of the city limits
you could always use public trans..

You could stay in Evanston and take the Metra back and forth. There’s a Hilton Garden right near the Davis St Metra stop. It only takes about 20min to get from Davis to downtown.

I dont suggest taking a taxi, thats a waste of money. O’Hare has alot of hotels and the L(blue line) runs right from there to downtown. $2.25 a ride, and you save time. =]
